Opportunity to shadow a registered nurse for a day (7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Target Audience: RESTRICTED to high school juniors and seniors interested in exploring a career in nursing. Participants must be enrolled in high schools from the following counties: Bartholomew, Boone, Johnson, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Lawrence, Marion, Monroe, Morgan, and Shelby.

A formal application process is required. Applications are available from your high school counselors.

Nursing 2000's Eighteenth Annual Scholarship Benefit

Nursing 2000 has been active and successful in raising the interest and understanding of individuals considering a career in Registered Nursing through their many educational programs and career counseling. To complete the cycle and assist undergraduate and graduate students with their financial commitments, Nursing 2000 conducts an annual fund raising event to provide nursing scholarships. All proceeds from this evening will be awarded equally to affiliated Schools of Nursing in the form of nursing scholarships: Indiana University, Ivy Tech State College, Marian College, and the University of Indianapolis.

Opportunities to support Nursing Education:
Legacy Scholarship opportunities are available to honor a nurse, memorialize a nurse or a contributor of educational development of a nurse. Families or individuals have the opportunity to present the scholarship to the recipient at the benefit. THis scholarship support begins at the $1000 level. Donors may contribute at any level to the nursing education scholarship fund.
